Volume 2 Chapter 17 – Murong Lin’s ruthlessness

As their expressions changed gradually, Murong Lin sensed their growing trust in him taking on a tangible form, connecting him to each member of the group. 

Volume 2 Chapter 15 – The palace and the hologram

As the sky darkened and the reddish glow of the setting sun vanished over the horizon, darkness enveloped the hidden realm. The moon didn’t exist in this place, and there were no stars to be seen. Apart from the illumination provided by flames created through a person’s spiritual powers, there was no other source of light.

Fortunately, Murong Lin had led the group to a suitable resting area well in advance, long before nightfall. Each person had their own spiritual equipment for resting, including tents and sleeping bags, which they quickly set up.

Some individuals began refining the spiritual medicines they had collected during the day, their expressions filled with excitement as they worked to enhance their strength. Others were busy organizing the jade tablets they had acquired, studying the spiritual techniques they had all copied.

Volume 2 Chapter 14 – Trickery

As the group traversed through the forest, they covered a considerable distance. Over this time, they had successfully hunted a significant number of demonic beasts. Under Murong Lin’s guidance, they discovered a water source and managed to eliminate over a hundred more demonic beasts. 

Additionally, they were also able to collect various spiritual medicines and spiritual minerals, many of which fell within the higher Earth grade and lower Sky grade categories.

The accomplishments continued to elevate Murong Lin’s standing in the eyes of Ling Yu and the rest.

Those who occupied the platform were brimming with anticipation, fully aware that being among the first to enter the Heaven Martial realm could yield them the opportunity to find fortuitous encounters first.

With the exception of a few oblivious souls, the vast majority of participants had congregated beneath the Heaven Martial hidden realm. The area around this congregation was bustling with onlookers and companions of tournament contestants. They encircled the assembly, giving the entire scene the grandeur of a momentous occasion.

Volume 2 Chapter 12 – Start of the tournament

On the second day, the grand Nanyue Wan Guo Tournament officially commenced, igniting a palpable buzz of anticipation throughout the Heaven Martial city. Virtually every inhabitant of the city hurried to an open expanse just beyond the city’s limits. Some took to the skies with effortless flight, while others relied on their spiritual equipment to hasten their arrival.

A shimmer of excitement and hope danced within the eyes of every single person, and some even started to imagine their boundless futures. 

The teeming throng, numbering in the tens of millions, poured out of the city, temporarily congesting the roads.

Volume 2 Chapter 11 – Array Disruptor

This auction primarily catered to the participants of the upcoming ‘Great Nanyue Wan Guo Tournament’ to be held the following day. As a result, most of the attendees were the young men and women preparing to compete in the tournament. 

It was evident that their financial resources paled in comparison to the formidable Abhijñā realm cultivators.

News of the valuable items on the auction stage spread rapidly, prompting more Abhijñā realm cultivators from the city to hasten to the scene. Their avid gaze was riveted on the two ‘Black Lion King Essence Pills’ prominently displayed.

An extravagantly dressed plump man slowly soared over, his excitement evident as he fixed his gaze on the ‘Black Lion King Essence Pill’. For someone who didn’t particularly fancy cultivation, these items were exceptionally appealing.
